Different devices.
One application.

Built a device-agnostic Rust and React application for bank tellers’ cash transactions, replacing reliance on third-party software. Owned the architecture and implementation end to end, with testing support from a team made up primarily of non-developers.

Two cash-recycling devices connect through adapters to one Rust application with a React teller interface and analytics.
10×devices per node — supported by simulator testing against the incumbent vendor solution’s known limits.
THE TEAM
Streamlined lab testing and releases. Introduced automated regression testing to reduce repetitive work. Established documentation practices to retain knowledge and support onboarding.
THE ENGINEERING
Supports two devices through device-specific adapters, with new adapters enabling future hardware. Built protocol simulators to extend testing beyond the physical devices in the lab.
CASH INTELLIGENCE
Historical usage dashboards, cash-demand forecasts, and collection or replenishment recommendations for branch cash planning.
